09/2010
The MFC-J6510DW, MFC-J6710DW and MFC-J6910DW are aimed at the small business market. All three machines let users scan, copy, fax and can print on paper up to tabloid size (11 by 17 inches).
These printers have an automatic duplexer for two-sided printing, and a 35-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF) for copying, faxing, or scanning multi-page documents.
The MFC-J6510DW has a 250-sheet paper capacity, while the other two printers in the series come with dual paper trays to increase total capacity to 500 pages. They all have 3.3-inch widescreen LCD displays but the MFC-J6910DW's has touch-screen functionality.
By April 2011, all of the models will be compatible with the downloadable Brother iPrint&Scan app, which allows wireless printing from or scanning to an Apple mobile device or Android Smartphone.
The Brother Professional Series MFC-J6510DW and MFC-J6710DW will be available in January at approximately $250 and $300, respectively. The MFC-J6910DW will go on sale in March for an estimated $350.
